Folgarida Hotel

The images show a hotel in Italy and they were made for Format-AD. The construction of this was a bit more difficult than that of an ordinary project for two reasons. First of all, the plans that I used were not digitized so I had to draw the plan all over again. Secondly, the construction was situated on a slope, which is never easy, even when you have the topographic plans (which I didn’t).

The time I was given was very short, as usual, and it forced the style of the renderings (the suggested model). I could also make use of the fact that the hotel is somewhere in the mountains, with lots of snow around it (even though the people I had at the time were all in shorts). These are not the renderings I am most proud of quality wise, but I like how it looks first hand, not taking into account mistakes or things that are incomplete.
