The drawing is the cover art for an EP called “Mind Drift” by ardb.
It was a comissioned piece – I received a mockup for the cover and pretty clear instructions on what the label wanted (specifically, the cat :).
The background music for the video was also provided by ardb. The EP is not yet available, but will update the description of the video (and here) as soon as it is.
The process started slow, I had a hard time finding the right composition. I tried switching to color very early to get inspired. It kind of worked, but not really. Still, I’m really happy with the result!

eu am doua patimi pe lumea asta: si-fi si pisici. Am patru, tendinta crescatoare. Si un colt de camera plin de la podea la tavan cu Asimov, Heinlein, Dick, Clarke, Vonnegut & Co.
Descoperind desenul Dvs., am simtit o nevoie dureros de astringenta sa am un poster cu acesta.
deci, la subiect: as putea cumpara acest jpeg cu o rezolutie indestulatoare pentru a-l printa in format A2/A1 ?
